Haziran – Temmuz aylarında beyaz çiçekler açan, 50 – 60 santimetre yüksekliğinde olan çok dallı, çok yıllık, kazık köklü, otsu bir bitkidir. Türkiye’de Orta ve Doğu Anadolu’da yetişir.
